Request Account & Data Deletion

This official page allows any participant or parent/guardian to permanently delete their account and all associated personal and learning data, without requiring the application to be installed.

How to Request Account Deletion

We provide two convenient methods to request permanent deletion of your account and personal records:

Method 1 (Fastest)

Directly Inside the Android App

  1. Open the Pearls of Quran app on your Android device.
  2. Tap the navigation drawer menu (☰) in the top bar.
  3. Select Delete Account from the menu list.
  4. Confirm your deletion request. Your account and profile will be queued for immediate permanent removal.
Method 2 (In-Page Web Submission)

Direct Web Submission via This Form

If you uninstalled the application or cannot access your device, simply fill in the form below. Submitting the form transmits your details directly to our verified administrative desk at ask@characterbee.com without opening any external mail app.

📝 Account Deletion Form

Enter your registered details below. Once submitted, your request will be delivered directly to our administration desk for permanent database deletion.

Enter the exact phone number used to receive your SMS OTP verification during account creation.
If provided, our administrative team will send an email confirmation once deletion is complete.

Data Deletion & Retention Breakdown

We are fully transparent about what data is removed and what minimal records (if any) are legally retained:

Data Category Status Details & Retention Period
Authentication & Credentials Permanently Deleted Your phone number, Supabase Auth user ID (UUID), and encrypted session tokens are permanently wiped from the authentication system.
Personal Profile Data Permanently Deleted Participant full name, parent/guardian name, age group, gender, and profile timestamps are permanently erased.
Learning & Quiz Progress Permanently Deleted All completed quiz attempts, scores, pearls/flowers/aayaat unlocked, and active learning histories are permanently purged.
Completion Certificates Permanently Deleted Certificates tied to your profile are invalidated and removed from active servers.
Temporary Backup Snapshots Purged within 30 Days Automated database disaster recovery backups overwrite every 30 days. No manual restore will be performed to resurrect deleted accounts.
Statutory / Anti-Abuse Logs Strictly Minimal Aggregated anonymous usage metrics that cannot be linked back to any individual identity may be retained solely for platform security and fraud prevention as required by law.

Processing Timeline

All verified deletion requests received via the Android app or through our web resource are processed within 30 calendar days. We may reach out via the provided phone number or email solely to confirm that the requester is the authorized account holder or parent/guardian, protecting you against malicious deletion attempts.
