How to request account deletion

Two ways to delete your account

We provide two convenient methods to request permanent deletion of your account and personal records. This deletes your Pearls of Quran account and its data. Flowers of Quran and Aayaatul Quran are separate programmes: an account you have there is not affected — ask that programme to delete it.

1 Method 1 · Fastest

Directly inside the Android app

Open the Pearls of Quran app on your Android device.
Tap the navigation menu in the top bar.
Select Delete Account from the menu list.
Confirm your deletion request. Your account and profile will be queued for permanent removal.

Using the website? Signed-in learners can also delete from the learner portal: open Me → Delete account.

2 Method 2 · In-page web submission

If you uninstalled the application or cannot access your device, simply fill in the form below. Submitting it delivers your details directly to our administrative desk — no mail app needed.

Deletion is permanent. Your profile, progress, pearls and certificate cannot be restored afterwards.

Data Deletion & Retention Breakdown

We are fully transparent about what data is removed and what minimal records (if any) are legally retained:

Sign-in details	Permanently Deleted	Your Pearls of Quran account ID and session records are permanently wiped. The sign-in for your phone number is deleted too, unless the same number still has an account in a sister programme (that sign-in keeps nothing from Pearls of Quran).
Personal profile data	Permanently Deleted	Participant full name, email, age, gender, any parent/guardian or father's name you gave us, and profile timestamps are permanently erased.
Learning & quiz progress	Permanently Deleted	All completed quiz attempts, scores, pearls unlocked, and active learning histories are permanently purged.
Completion certificates	Permanently Deleted	Certificates tied to your profile are invalidated: the public check no longer finds them. Only the bare number is kept, with no name or link to you, so it is never issued to anyone else.
Temporary backup snapshots	Purged within 30 Days	Automated database disaster recovery backups overwrite every 30 days. No manual restore will be performed to resurrect deleted accounts.
Statutory / anti-abuse logs	Strictly Minimal	Aggregated anonymous usage metrics that cannot be linked back to any individual identity may be retained solely for platform security and fraud prevention as required by law.

Processing timeline

Done within 30 calendar days

All verified deletion requests received via the Android app or through our web resource are processed within 30 calendar days. We may reach out via the provided phone number or email solely to confirm that the requester is the authorized account holder or parent/guardian, protecting you against malicious deletion attempts.
